Journées Scientifiques du Résau de Chimie Théorique du Grand Est 2022

Baniere1

The RCTGE2022 "Scientific Days of the Theoretical Chemistry Network of the Great East 2022" will take place at the University of Burgundy (Dijon) on June 2nd and 3rd, 2022 in the Recoura Amphitheater (UFR Sciences et Technique,  Mirande building)

Their goal is to bring together the community of researchers in theoretical chemistry (in the broad sense) of the Grand Est pole of the French Network of Theoretical Chemistry which federates simulation activities at the national level. This pole is organized around 6 main centres: the University of Strasbourg, the University of Loraine, the University of Haute-Alsace, the University of Reims Champagne Ardenne, the University of France Comté and the University of Burgundy.

These Scientific Days bring together around 60 participants ranging from confirmed researchers to M2 trainees. They allow researchers to present their recent results in a less constrained context than international conferences: priority is thus given to young researchers (doctoral student, post-doctoral student or young MCF / CR), and we can discuss topics in progress. development to expose open questions. Links are therefore regularly forged between teams through these meetings, strengthening existing collaborations. They are interdisciplinary in nature as modeling is used in biology, molecular chemistry, physical chemistry and materials chemistry.

This edition is jointly organized by the Institute of Molecular Chemistry of the Burgundy University (ICMUB), the Interdisciplinary Carnot Laboratory of Bourogne (ICB) and the Computational Center of the Burgundy University (CCUB).

Plenary conferences

Each day will be introduced by a pleanry conference: K. Costuas on June 2nd, and F. Sterpone on June 3rd.
